img_20180301_203411743.jpgThis is just an excellent little happy but not silly book, for the most part.

A teenage girl gets shipped off to a small island in Sweden for a month-long vacation stay with her hippie aunt.  Dismayed to find there is no shopping, cell-phone reception, movies, etc., she eventually comes to love the place and begins to grow up.  Boy and girl friends help, including a “clean” romance. A few good lessons are learned.  Adults are treated as imperfect but not as idiots.

The only bad language is I think one dumbass, an Oh God, a God, and then very unfortunately a Jesus. I am afraid I cannot overlook this.  It’s a pity and a bit of a curiosity.
