A beauty queen participates in a reality TV show, finds out the man she fell in love with is Scottish nobility, and hauls herself over to Scotland, along with family, friends, and TV crews, to film the wedding. Her younger sister falls in love with someone she meets there, a true prince who disguises his identity because he wants to be liked for who he really is.
This is very light fare. There is a fair amount of bad language (why?) which I don’t find particularly offensive, but some people will. Aside from the bride getting pregnant before the wedding (but after becoming engaged), there is really no mention of sex in the story.
To me, this book never truly lifts off. However, anyone who likes to watch “The Bachelorette” TV show will like it.
